About this tool

What is the Entity Extractor?

An entity extractor lists the capitalised names, brands, places and recurring concepts in your text. Entities are the "things" search engines and AI systems connect on a topic, so checking which ones your page names helps you cover a subject fully.

It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server or stored.

How to read the result and act on it

The list shows names, brands, places and recurring concepts the tool found in your text. Use it as a quick audit of whether your page names the things a reader would expect. Check that important entities are present, spelled consistently and introduced with enough context, for example giving a person's role or a product's category the first time. Look for missing relationships: if the page is about a service in a city, the service, place and your business should all be clearly connected. Then consider adding supporting details, links to authoritative sources and structured data such as Organization or Person where it fits. Remove noise, such as capitalised sentence starters, before drawing conclusions.

Common mistakes to avoid

Do not read the output as official entity recognition. A capitalisation-based extractor misses lowercase concepts and picks up sentence-initial words, headings and acronyms that are not entities. Another mistake is adding entities simply to lengthen the list, which creates name-dropping with no purpose. Inconsistent naming is a real issue to watch for: using three versions of a brand or product name can confuse readers and search systems. Avoid adding schema that describes things not visible on the page. Finally, do not treat entity presence as a ranking factor you can force; the point is clear, accurate writing that makes the subject unambiguous to a reader.

It is a pattern-based approximation that runs in your browser, so check the list by eye.
Linking to authoritative sources, where it helps the reader, can clarify what you mean and support credibility. Link only where it is useful, not for every name.
No. The tool runs in your browser, so what you enter is processed on your device and nothing is stored or sent anywhere. Copy any result you want to keep before closing the tab, since it will not be saved.
