Create the meta tags that control how your page looks when shared on social and chat apps.
An Open Graph tag generator outputs the og: and twitter: meta tags that decide the title, description and image shown when a link is shared on LinkedIn, Facebook, X, WhatsApp and Slack. They do not affect Google rankings but control first impressions.
It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server or stored.
Results appear as you run it, with nothing to install and no waiting on a queue.
Each finding says what it means and what to do next, not just a raw value.
Copy the output straight into your CMS, spreadsheet, ticket or client report.

Title, description, URL and image.
Paste into the head.
Use each platform's debugger.
The tool outputs meta tags that control how a link looks when shared. Copy them into the head of your page, then test the URL in each platform's sharing debugger or by pasting the link into a draft post, since platforms cache previews. Check that the title is clear and not cut off, that the description gives a reason to click, and that the image loads, uses an accessible URL and crops well. Make sure the og:url matches your canonical URL. If the preview looks wrong, clear the platform cache and confirm no plugin outputs a conflicting set of tags. Apply the same approach across key pages, and set a sensible default image for pages without a specific one.
A common error is using an image that is too small, so platforms crop it badly or ignore it. Another is leaving relative image paths, which many platforms cannot resolve; use a full absolute URL over HTTPS. Do not forget that SEO plugins and themes may already output tags, and duplicates can cause the wrong values to show. Avoid writing a title or description that differs sharply from the page, since mismatched previews erode trust. Remember that platforms cache previews, so changes may not show until you refresh them. Finally, do not expect these tags to be a ranking factor; they shape how shared links appear.
