About this tool

What is the Query Fan-Out Generator?

A query fan-out generator breaks one topic into the related sub-questions that AI search systems such as Google AI Mode and AI Overviews may run to build an answer: definition, process, cost, comparison, risks, freshness, local and follow-ups. Paste your page text to see which sub-questions it already covers.

It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server or stored.

Guide

How to read the result and act on it

Read the output as a map of questions a thorough answer might need to cover, not as a list of searches Google ran. Go through each group, such as definition, process, cost, comparison, risks, freshness, local and follow-ups, and mark which ones your page already answers well. If you pasted your page text, use the coverage view to see where nothing in your text matches a sub-question. Prioritise gaps that a reader would obviously expect, and add a short, direct answer under a clear heading for each one. Do not add every sub-question; choose those that fit the page's purpose and keep the page focused on one topic.

Common mistakes to avoid

Do not present the list as the exact queries a search system uses; nobody outside the system can see those, and the tool says so. Another mistake is turning every sub-question into a thin separate page, which dilutes the topic. Avoid adding sections just to tick coverage: a paragraph that restates the heading helps nobody. The coverage check is a text match, so a section may be marked as missing even if you covered it in different words; read it before acting. Do not forget freshness and local items when they matter, such as prices that change or city-specific details. Finally, keep answers specific, with facts a reader can verify.

  • Answer Readiness Scorer: Score a page for structure that helps answers be found and lifted: headings, lists, facts and freshness.
  • AI Visibility Prompt Pack: Generate prompts to track whether AI search tools mention, cite and describe your brand correctly.
