Turn any title into a short, clean, readable URL slug.
A URL slug optimizer converts a page title into a short lowercase slug, removing accents, symbols and optional stop words. Short, readable URLs are easier to share and understand, though they are a minor ranking signal.
It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server or stored.

Each finding says what it means and what to do next, not just a raw value.

A good slug is short, lowercase, readable and describes the page in a few words separated by hyphens. Read the generated version and ask whether a person would understand the topic from the URL alone. Trim extra words that add nothing, keep the main subject, and remove dates or numbers that will go stale. Check that the slug does not clash with an existing URL on your site and that it fits your folder structure. Once decided, set it before publishing, because changing it later needs a 301 redirect and updates to internal links. Keep slugs consistent across the site so patterns are predictable, and avoid changing established URLs without a strong reason.
The usual mistake is copying the full title into the slug, producing long strings that are hard to read and share. Another is stuffing several keywords into the URL, which looks spammy. Do not use underscores, spaces, capital letters or special characters, as hyphens in lowercase are the safest convention. Avoid including category and subcategory words that repeat the folder name. Changing a live slug without a redirect breaks existing links and loses their value. Stop words are not forbidden, so remove them only when the result still reads clearly. Finally, do not rely on the slug as a ranking lever; it supports clarity and click confidence more than anything.
