Check length, first-line keyword, chapters, hashtags and links in a video description.
A YouTube description checker reviews your description for length, keyword in the first 150 characters, valid chapters, hashtag count and links. It highlights what to add and what to trim.
It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server or stored.
Results appear as you run it, with nothing to install and no waiting on a queue.
Each finding says what it means and what to do next, not just a raw value.
Copy the output straight into your CMS, spreadsheet, ticket or client report.
Your content stays on your device. We do not receive or keep it.

Work through the report from the top of the description downwards. First confirm the keyword appears within the first 150 characters, written in a natural sentence rather than a list. Next review the length note: a very short description gives search little to understand, while an overlong one buries the useful part. If chapters are flagged, fix the order and the 0:00 start, since a broken list will not turn into chapters. Check the hashtag count and keep only the few that describe the topic. Review the links and make sure they are working, relevant and placed where viewers will see them. After editing, paste the revised text back in and re-check, repeating until the remaining notes are ones you chose to ignore.
Do not chase a perfect score at the cost of clarity. Adding a keyword just to satisfy the check can make the opening sentence awkward; rewrite it so it reads well first. Another common error is leaving old links in a reused template, such as an expired offer or a dead page. Many people forget that the first lines are what viewers see, so a promo block at the top wastes the best space. Do not pad the description with unrelated search terms; it adds no value and can look spammy. Also remember that the checker reviews text only, so it cannot tell whether your summary matches the video.
