Find a channel ID and RSS feed URL from an @handle or channel link.
A YouTube channel ID finder looks up the unique channel ID behind an @handle or channel URL and returns the RSS feed address. The ID is needed for feeds, APIs and some SEO and analytics tools.
This tool fetches the address you enter once, from our server, and reports what a crawler would receive. The URL is not stored; only a short-lived rate-limit counter is kept. Results show the page at the moment of the check and can differ from what a logged-in browser or a bot with different headers sees.
Reads the real page at the moment you run it, with every redirect followed and shown.
Each finding says what it means and what to do next, not just a raw value.
Copy the output straight into your CMS, spreadsheet, ticket or client report.
Free, with no signup. Fair-use limits keep the tool fast for everyone.
Include the @.
The public page is read once.
Use it in feeds and tools.
Enter the handle or channel link and read the returned ID, which normally starts with UC and is 24 characters long. Copy it exactly, because it is case sensitive. Use the RSS feed address that comes with it to subscribe in a feed reader or to pull new uploads into a tool. Paste the ID into the field of the SEO, analytics or API tool that asked for it. If the result does not appear, check the handle spelling and try the full channel URL. For client work, record the ID next to the channel name in your documentation, since handles can change while the ID stays the same.
A common mistake is entering a video link or a playlist link instead of a channel link, which does not contain the channel itself. Another is mixing up the handle with the channel name or custom URL; they are different things. People also paste the ID with a stray space or lose a character when copying, and then the tool rejects it. Do not assume the ID reveals anything private: it is public information on the channel. Be careful with look-alike channels, as copies of a name are common, so confirm the channel by its subscribers and videos before you save the ID. Finally, test the feed address in a browser before relying on it.
