Convert images between PNG, JPEG and WebP in your browser.
An image converter changes an image from one format to another, such as PNG to WebP or JPEG to PNG. Choosing the right format affects file size and quality. This tool converts in your browser without uploading the file.
It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server or stored.
Results appear as you run it, with nothing to install and no waiting on a queue.
Each finding says what it means and what to do next, not just a raw value.
Copy the output straight into your CMS, spreadsheet, ticket or client report.
Your content stays on your device. We do not receive or keep it.
Pick a file from your device.
Choose the format and quality.
Compare it with the original before using it.
Pick the target format and check the size difference in the result. For photos, WebP or JPEG at 80 to 90 quality is a sensible start. For logos, icons and screenshots with sharp edges, PNG or WebP keeps text crisp. Open the preview at full size and compare it with the original. If your browser cannot create WebP, the tool says so and returns another format, so look at the format notice before downloading.
Avoid converting a JPEG to PNG expecting better quality, because the original loss is already there and the file just gets larger. Do not convert logos to JPEG, which adds artefacts and removes transparency. Another mistake is overwriting your original: keep it, since each re-encode of a lossy format reduces quality. Use descriptive file names for the converted image.
