Generate BreadcrumbList JSON-LD from a trail of pages.
A breadcrumb schema generator creates BreadcrumbList JSON-LD from your page trail so search engines can show the path in results. The trail should match the breadcrumbs visible on the page.
It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server or stored.
Results appear as you run it, with nothing to install and no waiting on a queue.
Each finding says what it means and what to do next, not just a raw value.
Copy the output straight into your CMS, spreadsheet, ticket or client report.
Your content stays on your device. We do not receive or keep it.
Only add what is visible on the page.
Paste it into the head or body.
Use Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator.
Paste the generated BreadcrumbList into the page's HTML as JSON-LD. Each ListItem needs a position, a name and an item URL, starting with the home page at position 1. A good output follows the trail a user would see on the page, such as Home, Category, Subcategory, Page. Confirm that the URLs are the canonical, absolute versions and that the names match your visible breadcrumb text. Test the page in Google's Rich Results Test. If the breadcrumb displays in search, the path replaces the plain URL under your title, which helps people understand where the page sits.
Do not invent a trail that does not match your site's real structure or the breadcrumb shown on the page. Another mistake is using relative URLs, redirected URLs or non-canonical versions in the item field. Avoid skipping position numbers or repeating them, which makes the list invalid. Do not use breadcrumb markup on the homepage, where there is nothing above the page. Remember that a product may be reachable by several paths, so pick one logical trail for the markup and keep it consistent across the site.
